Cry Africa is a musical about Zimbabwe

          
      It is about the thugs who
     torture in the name of tyranny, and
     the brave people who resist and 
     must eventually triumph.

     Satirical and serious, funny and
     dreadful.  It is also about love and
     daily life, which continue somehow
     despite the efforts of the 'old man.'

Cry Africa! Cry Africa! Can you hear?
See Africa! See Africa! See our fear!
Those darkening skies don't
Bring sweet rain
But the smoke of violence
Fire and hatred

            Cry Africa! Cry Africa! Cry again!
            Feel Africa! Feel Africa! Feel our pain!
            Our prayers go unanswered
            Who will care?
            Where is our Madiba to
            Come and save us?
